Evaluating the Performance of Ve Study Using Factor Analysis and Ahp

چکیده

The applications of VE increase recently. Currently, the performance of VE study is mainly judged by the total amount saved by the VE team and thus ignores those issues such as team origination, VE methodology implementation, and the interactions between the facilitator and the project participants. Under these game-play rules, the VE team somehow losses its ability of identifying some shortages during VE study. Value promotion that is the original function of VE is therefore decreased. This research applied statistics method (Factor Analysis) and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to analyze a questionnaire survey distributed to experienced VE practitioners in Taiwan. A model for the evaluation of VE study performance was built based on the data collected from the survey. The proposed model, including four sub-aspect and 23 measurement criterions, could be used to assess the VE study performance.
